This 45 mile walk was created by a group of Countryside Service volunteers to commemorate the millennium. The whole route is within the Bradford Metropolitan boundary and visits many beauty spots for which Bradford is famous - Bronte Falls, White Wells, Ilkley Moor and Shipley Glen to name but a few.
It follows footpaths with many wonderful views of woodland, moorland, streams, reservoirs and picturesque valleys.
The walk is divided into linear sections with easy access points, most of which can be reached using public transport. The maps are two-and-a-half inches to the mile, each route section running from the bottom to the top of the page.

This is the second book of the Bradford Millennium Way Project. The book has been designed to divide the route into 16 circular walks. Each walk has been specially written to enable walkers to complete the Millennium Way in easy sections.
If all are completed you have walked the Millennium Way.
It has also been designed to allow you to walk the Millennium Way 'in one go'. If walking the Millennium Way follow the shaded text. If walking the circular walks follow both the shaded and unshaded text.
